Who me?

Married with kids, a silly Golden who lives up to his name, Chaos and 2 crazy rescue kitten's named Flurry and Pekoe!

I love making a mess with paper, inky and sticky things!  I’ve been around awhile creating, blogging and teaching along the way.  I can get easily bored so I am always looking for a challenge.  If it’s in my craft room then I am using it.  I love sharing what I learn and what I’m creating.

I love to blog, network and build my mini crafty empire.  This is where I get to connect with people all over the world, share and learn!  I am inspired everyday and love making connections.  Without my blog I wouldn’t be creating as much as I do.  I’m always working to expand my audience.

I have been on a few Design Teams and loved being on them.  I have shared my work on some great blogs and being a Guest Designer is a blast!  I’ve been published in a magazine and I always tell myself I should submit more…and I don’t.  I was North American Top Crafter 2014 for Sizzix and won a trip to California to tour Sizzix and meet the Team! WOW, yep that was a blast.  I design for Sizzix Designer Eileen Hull where some of my projects ended up at CHA 2015.  Also I have been a Guest Artist for Ranger Ink and I am Guest Designer for Canadian Scrapbooker Magazine.  I am beyond proud to share what I love!

Stick around and buckle up!

Journaling Tuck Spots and Pockets

It is official... I am addicted to Journaling.  This is an inspiration post... why?  I may have become lost in my creativity... it happens.
Scroll through the the photos for ideas.  I have been inspired by my fellow journalers too.
I kept the cover of Eileen Hull's new Journalsimple with a flipped cabinet card and some crackle paste stenciling.

Inside there are pages of Memoranda paper and Idea-Ology from Scrap ShotzMarch Scrapbook Kit.

A mini book stuffed in a pocket too.

Nicole Wright Designs Fallen Blossomis used on the tag, stamped and watercolored with worn lipstick oxide ink.

I used pages from my 115 year old art journal to create another mini.  Stamping and watercoloring throughout each page with Garden Flower and my stamp set Fallen Blossom.

Tuck spots and pockets for stuffing notes.

The March Kit with the new Memoranda paper is perfect on it's own.  But I still cut it up and collaged with it.

I fussy cut a found relative since I am still trying to get my hands on …

Simply Spring

Just a simple card with stuff I had laying around or partially started.  What could be more easy than that.  Sometimes you just have to dig through your stuff.  Click the links below to see what I used.

You are the best... using Ranger's new Letter It stamps.

A little mixed media die cutting.

I went all inky then added a coat of clear rock candy distress glitter.  If only the shimmer came through.

Love these flowers.

A grungy little edge.

This is a simple little card with a couple of easy techniques.  We have so much snow so I guess I just need some cheery spring.

Watercoloring with Butterflies & Oxides

The Eileen Hull Inspiration Team has been sharing tutorials all month long.  I do have a video tutorial for this card but it won't be read for awhile.  Hey, it happens.  I at least have a couple of photo's until the whole video is posted on Creative Scrapbooker Magazines website.

Loving the new Oxide inks especially as we approach those soft easter pallets.

A little stamping.

I know it's not a box or cool journal.  One of my favourite dies is the Birds & Butterflies thinlit.  Yep, there are pretty little dies perfect for card making too.

I love the intricate butterfly to layer over.

A simple card and no it's not even a journal.

I will share the video when it's all done and posted.  I will even embed it in the post too.
Onto next month...
