Our Story Flip Frame

I have another fun project this week and something I don't usually do.  I have to say I had a lot of fun making this flip frame!  The Little Things Flip Album comes with everything you need so it's as easy as decorate and run your photo's through the Xyron Creative Station.

All week the Xyron Team and Paper House are teaming up for some awesome projects to inspire your next project!  There are also some awesome giveaways to check out.  Scroll through to see my flip frame and click the links for giveaway details.

If you follow me on Instagram you know I just got a new Instax Camera, perfect for my Xyron machines.  I gathered some of my photos, One Big Happy Family Paper Crafting Kit and Creative Station.

Did you know you can run the thick clear acetate papers through the Creative Station and see no sticky glue!  Love that!  My Create a Sticker is the prefect size for my wee Instax photo's!

I had to add some Oxide ink to the edges.  The One Big Happy Family Paper Crafting Kit makes this so fast to pull together.

I love all the little stickers to add in there too!  Run the papers through the Creative Station for some full coverage adhesive... BAM!

I used both my Create a Sticker and Creative Station on EVERYTHING!  The 9" refill allows you to double up and run 2 pages at a time.

Let's check out some of my pages and check out my awesome kids.

The stickers make it fun!

Yep, that's my first photo with my Instax camera.  Layered with the thick acetate and layer this cute floral sticker.

Loving all these flips, frames and accessories!

Haha... my goofy family!  The photo of my kids is pretty cool.  I have this app and when I hover over the image it becomes a video of them where they move and talk.  Like Harry Potter... EEP!

The Little Things Flip Album even has a built in stand.  Brilliant!

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my fun flip frame.  I have already mailed it off!  I know it's not my usual project but sometimes it's fun to stretch!  Hey, stickers are fun too!

Having my new fun Instax adds a fun layer to my crafting.  Being able to use add adhesive with my Create a Sticker makes these polaroid photos not only fun but easy to slap onto any project, frame or journal.

Here's another prize pack from Xyron... click HERE for all the details.

Kunin Felt Journal

Going for a simple journal this time.  With all the involved journals I have been making full of tuck spots, pockets and layers of paper I wanted to make a quick journal.  This is quickly and easily done with the House/ Pocket Thinlit Die.  The Inspiration Team is playing with Kunin Felt all month.
I am not a felt user.  In fact I have never used felt... that I recall anyway.  So what a fun challenge for me.  My crafty bestie click HERE and I were brainstorming what to do and she said make it into a journal!  DING, DING...

A few quick cuts of the Smokey Felt and Heartfelt Paper.

I cut the Bird and Butterflies with the felt and paper to layer running the paper through the Create a Sticker.  I cut the more felt with the Broadway die to create HOME for the front.

A helpful tip for cutting felt with thinlits from fellow team member Mitsyana.  Layer a piece of cardstock, felt then thinlit.  This will allow the felt to cut through.  Good to know when you don't cut felt.

Home Sweet Home with this House/ Pocket Thinlit Die journal.

I even created a few tuck spots cut them the Heartfelt Cardstock and stamped with my sentiment stamp, Fallen Blossom.

Ack, look how perfect this flower is!

Some more cuts to make tuck spots and pockets.

Look, there's a hidden journal in the Heartfelt Collection with the House/ Pocket Thinlit Die.

Be sure to check out all the awesome projects and inspiration they are sharing HERE.

Fairy Dolls

I went a different way with the Heartfelt Journal die.  I made a shadow box with it.  You can create all sorts of compartments and cubby's to stuff little trinkets.  In my case I created a large opening to create my little story.

I used Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Reinker to colour y texture paste and applied to the cover of the cover with layering stencil Rose.  Tinting looks amazing on it.

I attached a strip of mat board on the outside and inside for the journal allowing for a 2" depth when done.  I cut strips of mat board to create the inside of the box.  I painted the box with black gesso including right over the pink roses.

I wasn't planning on painting the whole thing with black gesso... but paint happens!

I inked the chip quotes with Oxides and attached to the cover.

How awesome is the distress of these roses!

Some wallflower paper stash and envelope die on the inside.

The shadow box created is simple and pretty with paper dolls, grassy bits and a fence.

I cut and layered small duo butterfly wings for the pretty dolls.

The perfect set of wings to create fairy's!

I could have added so much more.  But sometimes you just need to step away and leave it.

The versatility of the die keeps on going!  A shadow box filled with fairy's, papers and secrets can be so much fun!  I have everything I used linked below.  Click and shop ;)

Challenge to play along
