Make mine a Double

Holy CRAP...I'm early!
(sorry, didn't me to yell there)

Lately, I seem to be just squeaking my tags in at the last moment!  I cannot tell you how BUSY I am creating and scheduling posts.  I have a lot of stuff coming up and exciting things to share.  But for now...let's bask in the glory of my June Tag...DONE!  Or at least I will bask!

I know, I say it all the time but it's true...this was FUN to make.  I really love those Custom Ink pads...have you made yours yet?

Let us take a moment here people...this is my last "big" mirrored star :(

Now, I am not a fan of the Frap...(no haters please) but it's true.  Whip Cream is not my thing.  But, I did enjoy making it look whippy.

WOOHOO...I know I'm late to the Flashcard Party but lookie...I have some now.  ENJOY!

I do love my #hashtag stamps but I really wanted my wordband and mowed lawn distress paint to meet up and get grungy!

I didn't have a green straw either...I know shocking.  I used the straw that comes with the Freshly Brewed die and inked with mowed lawn distress paint.  No coloured jute stuff either.  So, $1 store jute and more mowed lawn.  Pretty EH...

There you have it!

It's Father's Day Sunday and my husband LOVES Starbucks.  He has his gold card and everything so this is perfect to nestle in a loaded card for him.  Great way to celebrate Father's day!

  1. Nicole, as usual I had a real hearty laugh reading through your post! Don't you love it when you come early to a challenge? Especially Tim's! I'm a last minute girl when it comes to Tim's challenges, and this month will be no exception! I don't own a SINGLE thing aside from the tag itself! But I've got my tartan background ready for action! Your cuppa is just fabulous, and will be a real special Father's Day memento for your husband! I love how you have repeated your Mowed Lawn on your embellishments--it really pops against the neutrals! How come mine's not so bright?? And your whip is the cat's pajamas and looks yummy enough to eat! Thank you for making me laugh AND for joining in our Make It Masculine challenge at Anything But Cute! hugs! Sara Emily DT

  2. You did a great job here Nicole, love your tag and your amusing post. Looks like you need more stars, but that's still about the only thing for my tag when I get round to it. Like you Tim's tag always seems to get squeezed till the end of the month. Have a great weekend.

HEY USA... IT'S ALMOST YOUR BIRTHDAY!!!!

Celebrating the 4th of July with this patriotic card.  Since I have all these adorable paper dolls I dug through and found this pretty little girl holding the flag and wearing a pretty little sash.  My Mom's husband is American and this is his first July 4th since moving to Canada.  I wanted to whip up a card celebrating his homeland.

I finally get to use some of my seasonal paper with all these patriotic images.

My paper doll is coloured up with distress markers.

I added the dog... even he is inky with antique linen.

I inked the background and used the stars stencil... subtle and pretty.

Happy {almost} July of 4th

I hope all my American Friends a very special Happy Birthday.  Thanks for stopping by for this Canadian version on a Patriotic card.

Make Over

Please be patient while my team and I (guys pictured below) rebuild my blog.

Due to unforeseen and sudden non communicated policy changes (by a certain online image hosting website) I have had to remove a lot of content I have built for my blog.  At some point my blog had a major system failure causing me to rebuild and start over.  Boo

Please note this change will not be "lipstick on a pig" and all future content will be AWESOME.  In the coming months I will be making adjustments to provide some of the best crafty eye candy out there.  YAY!

Thank you for your continued support, love and all around awesomeness!
And thanks a lot...
